The apricots are ripe – I hold a fruit in my hand and look at it from all sides. The feel resembles that of a velvety palm stone but with a slightly soft touch. The fruit exudes its specific scent – an immediate pleasure. It is high time for a delicious “Creamy Baobab Apricot Smile” – a very special smoothie.
The scent intensifies as I cut the fruit. From the inside, the fruit show their intensive “Apricot” color. I can’t wait to taste it.
Along with the tasty Baobab powder I put the fruit into a bowl. The Baobab powder adds a slightly lemony note – a true highlight for my taste buds. To make the smoothie more creamy I add a ripe banana and a swig of agave syrup.
I fill up the bowl with coconut rice milk. The blender combines all to an auspicious drink. Even the color stays healthy – only the Apricot has become somewhat brighter and pastel colored.
