Baobab, Book by Ralph Stutchbury
Ralph Stutchbury is a filmmaker and photographer from Zimbabwe. He grew up in the African “bush” and describes his fascination with the African Baobab.
The book shows 126 pages of beautifully captured enchanting baobabs. The photographs were taken, for example, at magical places like Epupa Falls (Namibia), Lekhubu Island (Botswana), Mana Pools and Gonarezhou (Zimbabwe) – to name just a few. Evocative landscapes and locations of the giants can be admired as well as their various manifestations, fruits, flowers, leaves and forms of use. The main focus of this wonderful coffee table book is on the photographs – the text provides basic but nevertheless valuable information about the giants.
A very nice coffee table book to enjoy.
